My Favorite Food

Tacos I've always loved tacos for multiple reasons. One is they can be found anywhere. Whenever I'm craving tacos there is always a taco place around which is so convenient. Second, they come in many different combinations all unique to you. My favorite is carne asada with lettuce, cheese, sour cream, and a side of limes. Third, they have their own day which makes them special. Ever heard of Taco Tuesday?! Last but not least, they're cheap and quick! If you ever have spare change and a few minutes to spare you can always head down to your local taqueria and have yourself some tacos!

College Life

How's College? As the months wind down and the semester ending I've reflected on my college experience so far. College technically started for me August 13th when I moved in for the start of cross country practices. I was luckily enough to establish a friend group early so I wasn't too worried about making friends in college. Later when others began movcing in it hit me, I'm in college! This feeling went away after attending classes and before I knew it I felt normal again. College has been filled with many adeventures ranging from meeting all types of people to traveling to Indianpolis with my cross country team. I was happy with how things were going and was excited for the upcoming months.  Flash forward to now and I'm currently in track. It's been hectic with all the traveling and competing each week but I honestly wouldn't trade it for the world. I enjoy being a college athlete because it presents me with such unique and fun experiences. S

Figure Skating

Figure Skating is Hard ! I've recently been watching the Winter Olympics and came across a performance during the figure skating competitions that was just too good not to write about.  The name of the skating duo was South Korea’s Yura Min and Alexander Gamelin. The pair skated to the well-known song, “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee. I thought this was really unique because this is the first time in the Olympics where the International Skating Union has modified its rules allowing figure skaters to perform to music with lyrics.  I really enjoyed their song selection, but also thoroughly enjoyed their performance as well. Their performance was well executed with great choreography and the ability to stay in sync. Their ability to gracefully move across the ice while looking effortless is something only a few can accomplish. Although Yura suffered a wardrobe malfunction she overcame it with poise and finished a great routine. Below is a link where yo

Reasons to take up Running!

Running is fun! I've been running since sixth grade and it has been one of the best things I've chosen to do. So why not share just how great it really is? These are just a few reasons why I believe running is great and is something everyone should try and incorporate into their everyday lives.   Below are 10 reasons why you should try running as well! It's a great stress reliever. Running has no qualifications and anyone can do it. It keeps you mentally tough. It helps you stay in shape. It allows you to meet different people from all different backgrounds. It's pretty much free and can be done anywhere. Prevents diseases such as high blood pressure and osteoporosis. Gives you an excuse to eat more carbs! Running has been shown to help keep the mind sharp. A great way to gain an enegry boost.
